Desc: Arribes: Everything Else Is Noise: Arribes examines the relationship between food, agriculture, sustainability and tradition in the real terms of this isolated region of NW Spain where people there produce about 80-90% of their own food. Although it is a portrayal of the people of the region and their way of life that has gone relatively unchanged for centuries, it raises questions about our own way of living, and if there are lessons that can be learned and applied to other areas, and if changes in lifestyles, priorities and population structures are essential for a more sustainable future.
